The Mustang season officially starts August 1, 2008.  All participants, both football and cheer, will need to complete 20 hours of mandatory conditioning.  It is extremely important that your child be available the first 2 weeks of August in order to get the required conditioning completed.  The last league game is Nov.1st

and quarter finals, semi finals and the Turkey Bowl may follow depending on how our teams do during the regular season.

Jamborees are at the end of August, games start the following week and run from September to the beginning of November.  Division that makes it to play-offs will continue playing in November with a conference Turkey Bowl ending the season scheduled for November 22nd.

Livermore and anything in between.

The first two weeks of  August practice will be everyday (excluding Saturday and Sunday) for 2 hours each day.  (That’s the conditioning weeks)

After Labor Day, practice is 3 days per week for 2 hours each day per youth football rules.

Our Board of Directors is listed under the About Us link on our website.

Our football and cheer coaches will be interviewed and selected by our organizations President & Athletic Director.  All will be required to be certified, CPR certified and required to attend clinics pertaining to coaching youth football or cheer.

All volunteers will have background checks done as required by Diablo Valley Youth Football Conference.

14) How can I help?

Contact the President or any Board member if you are interested in volunteering in any capacity. During the season our association will have on going fundraisers, at every game help is needed on the field, at the gate, in concessions, etc…

If you want to help, we will use you!

15) What are some of the parent commitments?

We ask that parents support all of our organizations children not just their own with encouraging words, a pat on the back or just a smile.  We need our parents to make the commitment to get their children to and from practice on time, to be at games on time and ready to play.  We ask our parents to “volunteer” at least 4 hours per family during the season.  There is a $25.00 volunteer fee required but will be returned or waived if the parent volunteers just 4 hours during the season.
